Imagine churches equipped with pastors & leaders who know God's word and who can lead themselves and others into a new world of wholeness and life.
Our dream is to have a missional impact in other communities through planting new and facilitating existing churches that will address the needs in their communities in a holistic way. We identify and focus especially on areas that are challenged in "faithpoverty". We believe the process of establishing a faith-presence has to reflect works of faith and deeds of love. Therefore, the church needs to engage with the real issues and challenges in the community. As a 'Missional impact team' it is our hope and intention to listen, discern and join where God is already at work.
Five things that are important to us:
1. Love all people and build healthy relationships in communities
2. Respect, trust and empowerment of indigenous leaders
3. Guidance towards self-leadership and ongoing personal development
4. Facilitating the development of context-specific leadership skills
5. Establishing partnership with other churches and organizations
We explore, discover, identify and co-create together with all the various partners involved to maximize Kingdom impact.
In the last six months we have been privilege to explore possibilities in four new areas to plant new churches. As a ‘missional impact team' it is our hope and intention to listen, discern and join where God is already at work.
Recent Highlights:
To date we have planted 31 Churches in informal settlements in Johannesburg and Pretoria
To date in Mozambique 32 Churches planted in and around Manjacaze in the Gaza district
We are busy with a training program of 4 years during which 150 church leaders will receive training. This pastoral training program will culminate in a graduation of these students in October 2014
Currently we are busy with the church planters training of 85 future church planters

An opportunity to partake in a missional pilgrimage by visiting one of the various projects where our community serves in and hope to make a difference. This is an opportunity for reflection and experiencing God when we are exposed to others who are in challenging situations. The pilgrimage is facilitated by leaders in the Missional Expressions teams.

Within the "old" South Africa, 10 homelands were created, four of which were granted "independence" by South Africa (not recognised by any other country in the world). These former South African Homelands/bantustans ceased to exist on 27 April 1994. They have all (including the former so called independent Homelands) been reincorporated into South Africa.
