MES is changing the heart of the city by empowering people holistically (physical, emotional, developmental and spiritual) to live independent, sustainable and meaningful lives.

Over the past 26 years the MES holistic development and service model has been established to address the needs of the homeless, unemployed and vulnerable individuals and communities through three service units: Poverty Alleviation, Spiritual and Community Enrichment: Professional Health and Social Work Services; and Education and Skills Decvelopment Services.

siyaJabula siyaKhula 

siyaJabula siyaKhula is the Ignite educational initiative aimed at assisting school learners.

As an extension to our Embark nutritional program at Dowling Primary School in Westbury, it is our desire to assist in their pilot educational support project.  siyaJabula siyaKhula (we are happy, we are learning) is a proven learner regeneration program that fills in educational gaps.  This makes it possible for struggling learners to cope and even thrive in their current grade as they gain the skills necessary to engage with the material.  

We plan to become involved by sourcing sponsorship for the learners and volunteering to be trained as tutors.  Three groups of 6 volunteers will be tutoring at Dowling Primary during the last quarter of 2012.

Om ‘n geliefde aan die dood af te staan is een van die moeilikste tye in ‘n mens se lewe. Om deur die hartseer van die verlies van 'n geliefde te kom, is `n proses, en soms kry mense nog baie swaar lank na die geliefde weg is.

Op een of ander stadium in ons elkeen se lewens word ons met siektes gekonfronteer.
 
Ons Siekesorg-bediening wil juis mense in hierdie tye van hul lewens bystaan. Die leier van die bediening, Dirk van Greuning, word deur ‘n baie bekwame span bygestaan en saam bied hulle die volgende dienste:

Seniors


Seniors

Mosaïek Seniors is `n lewensfase-bedieningsgroep vir persone 60 jaar en ouer. Die visie van die Seniors is om die Senior burgers so deel te maak van die bediening dat hulle werklik die liefde van Christus sal ervaar.
 
Die bediening word gelei deur ’n baie bekwame en toewyde span onder die leierskap van Gert en Christie Koen. Tans is daar ongeveer 120 mense wat deel uitmaak van hierdie bediening.
